Level 7 Diploma in Health & Social Care Management

Overview

Our level 7 diploma in Management carries the same weight as a Master’s degree and is the highest programme we offer. This internationally recognised qualification is for all managers and leaders who are looking to develop strategic insight into their chosen field of work.

The course is therefore applicable to several sectors, with the optional units allowing delegates to tailor the course to suit their sector-specific role. The diploma is accredited by Ofqual and ensures compliance with legal requirements and, for care sector pathways, meets the guidelines underlined by the CQC.

Combining both mandatory and optional units, delegates must gain a minimum total of 45 credits in order to pass the course.

Requirements

As assessment takes place in the workplace, delegates must be employed in a relevant vocational setting in order to enrol on the course.

Duration

Delegates can complete their diploma in a time to suit them, and we do not have a set frame that students must adhere too. That being said, a good target time for completion time is around 9 months, although many of our students complete much sooner.

Did you Know?

A common question we are asked is "what is the difference between NVQ, QCF and RQF diplomas?" The answer is far simpler than you may think...

All three are abbreviations of the same qualification. While the term 'NVQ' may still be the most popular, this was superseded by 'QCF' in 2010 and then changed to 'RQF' in 2015.
